"My dad was cared for in Charlotte Hall Veterans Home between the end of July 2013 until his passing on November 10th.  Over and over again my sister and I were impressed with the care and dedication of various staff members at Charlotte Hall.  Even very young aides had the sense that the men and women they cared for were owed a debt of gratitude for their service to our country and it was their honor to care for them.  Staff were tender and patient with our dad, efficient and thorough.  They even cared for my sister and me in asking us if there was anything they could do for us when we were there which in the last month of Dad's life was frequently.  We're very grateful to the staff on 3C and 2B for caring for Dad. What was painfully difficult to begin with was eased by their work and attitudes.  We knew Dad was well cared for.  Thank you."
