Charlotte Hall Veterans Home provides an Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing long-term care facility for Maryland Veterans and eligible spouses who are unable to take care of themselves due to age or disability. The Home provides the support and services required for shelter, sustenance, medical care, and social services necessary to maintain the resident's medical condition and quality of life.
Charlotte Hall is a program of the Maryland Department of Veterans & Military Families. The Maryland Veterans Home Commission provides additional oversight and functions as an advisory body to the Secretary of Veterans Affairs. The Home is operated under contract with the State of Maryland by Pruitt Health Services, LLC. The Home is managed by the Director of the Veterans Home Program, an employee of the Maryland Department of Veterans & Military Families, and the Administrator, employed by Pruitt Health Services.

- Know and practice disaster plans
- Respond to call lights promptly
- Report all accidents, incidents, or potential abuse immediately
