Assisted Living Care Program

Charlotte Hall's Assisted Living Program is designed to meet the needs of veterans requiring minimal assistance with everyday activities and is intended to help maintain their independence. In addition to their room and board, Assisted Living residents receive primary medical care, transportation to and from the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC (for those who wish to utilize the VA medical system), and a separate activities program tailored to a more active lifestyle.

Residents have access to the US Department of Veterans Affairs Community Based Outpatient Clinic here on site and transportation to the VA Medical Center in Washington, DC at no additional cost.

In addition to long-term and primary medical care, the Home makes available diagnostic and medical services such as psychiatric, dental, podiatry, optometry, laboratory, and radiology that are furnished to residents by outside providers. The Home offers a full range of on-site rehabilitation services including Speech Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. Our Rehab gym is filled with state-of-the-art equipment, and staff who strive to help residents achieve their optimum level of function and return to an independent life as quickly as possible.
