"The Veterans Gallery"

In partnership with the Charles County Arts Alliance, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home is excited to present our public art gallery, currently showcasing 51 artists and 63 works of art - our largest exhibit to date!  The gallery is located along the E-Wing Assisted Living Dining Hallway and will be on display from April 20, 2017 - January 31, 2018 (*please note date extension from October 19, 2017*). 

On Saturday, January 20, 2018, the Veterans Home will host a Meet the Artists Public Reception in the E-Wing Multipurpose Room, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, to honor all the artists participating in this show. The public is invited to attend and enjoy the opportunity to meet the artists while viewing their work on display. 

The show's theme is “Artist's Choice” and includes work from: Beverly Adams, Shirley Andrews (a resident), Ruth Bailey, Anne Buffington, Suzanne Cassidy (a volunteer), William Cassidy (a volunteer), Dorothy Crown, Ceclia Dunay, Angela Feeser, Seth Fenton, Brittany Goddard, Penelope Gold, Richard Gold, Sally Marie Goldsmith, Roxana Gonzales, Doris Hall, Dagan Hopkins, Gary Jameson, Gordon Johnson, Philip Lang (a resident), Addison Likins, William Lowry (a resident), Joanna Macaulay, Rebecca Mace, Mikayla Makle (staff family member), Karen Mattingly, Sidney Maynard, Bill Meck (a resident), Julie Meisel, Kathy Noel, Nadira Nunez, John Odom (a resident), Nia Olabesi, Joshua Owen, Nancy Owens, Walter Pearsall (a resident), Ashley Radano (staff), Wayne Russell, Dianne Shisler, Ernest Sinnes, Sharon Stapf (a volunteer), Joanna Van Brunt, Shirley Vatter (a volunteer), Larry Velozo (a resident), Nancy Walcutt (a volunteer), Ronald Webb, Renu Whiteside, Belinda Wilburn, Joseph Wolf, Gerry Wood, and David Zippi.

Most artwork is available for purchase; the E-Wing Security desk has a copy of the price list and artists biographies.

The gallery is located at 29449 Charlotte Hall Rd, Charlotte Hall, Maryland.  Hours are: Monday-Sunday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with meal time (high traffic) around 7:30 am, 11:30 am, and 4:30 pm.  Please follow the signs for the “D-Wing/State Office” entrance around back.
