| Charlotte Hall Veterans Home received a $25,000 donation from Cruisin’ Southern Maryland, made possible by local businesses, sponsors, car clubs, registrants, and community donors.
Although this year’s cruise was canceled due to weather, the community’s generosity continued. The donation was presented during the event’s wrap-up meeting and dinner.
The funds will support improvements to the skilled nursing facility’s memory support area, including painting and hands-on sensory features for residents with dementia. These enhancements will help create a more welcoming environment that encourages comfort and engagement.
