Today, we had the honor of celebrating Veterans Day with our residents. We would like to thank Deacon Kyte who delivered the opening and closing prayers for the ceremony. Dr. Tina Larose, Administrator of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home, offered encouraging remarks, introduced our keynote speaker and thanked our veterans for their service. MSG Y. Michelle Dowleyne, USA (RET) dedicated her time to prepare and deliver a wonderful speech to our residents. Calvert High School NJROTC executed a perfect drill presentation and Col. John J. Lombardi, Charlotte Hall Veterans Home Director, presented the Governor's proclamation. In today’s world, we are truly thankful for these special moments shared with those who have paved the way for all of us to stand with courage and strength, moving forward in honor of those who bring freedom to our nation and joy to our hearts.
