Director Becomes President of NASVH

July 28, 2017

We are proud to announce the new PRESIDENT of the National Association of State Veterans Homes, our very own Director, Sharon Murphy!

Sharon has worked for the veterans of Charlotte Hall since opening in 1985. She's worked tirelessly to make our Home a haven for them and we are incredibly proud of her.

"I have been a member or NASVH for over 10 years and could not have been successful at Charlotte Hall Veterans Home without the support and educational opportunities offered by this outstanding organization. The committee members communicate monthly to ensure the voices of the State Veterans Homes are heard in Congress and to maintain good relationships with the US Department of Veterans Affairs", said Director Murphy.

The MD Department of Veterans Affairs is pleased to have Ms. Murphy represent Maryland as President of this national association whose primary mission is to ensure every veteran needing long term care receives the quality care they have earned and are entitled to receive.
